From ho-ho-ho to no-no-no.
We here are E! love the holidays. Time spent with family. The seasonal drinks. The light flashes. The food. And of course the Christmas movies. There is nothing we love more than a cozy Sunday night that was spent watching Hallmark’s latest cheesy but irresistible TV movie with a steaming cup of hot cocoa. (We have the evidence: We ranked all 2020 offers. Yes, all 39 of them.)
But while we love a cheerful Christmas sacrifice, that does not mean we do not have standards; we can see the difference between a gift for a Christmas movie (think classics like At home alone, Christmas vacation and Elf, as well as a relative newcomer like Netflix charming Let it snow) and a lump of coal that leaves us colder than the cool temps outside.
Not every seasonal outing can continue to become an annual event like Love indeed or Santa Claus, with some destined to end at the end of Netflix’s Christmas proposal roll.
