After Growing pains the actor received setbacks for hosting caroling events in California mid-home orders Full house alum took to Twitter to make it clear she was not involved.
“I did not attend any recent tribute events,” the 44-year-old actress said wrote. “I also choose to follow the major guidelines by wearing a mask and social distance when I am in public.”
However, Candace made it clear that she did not “appreciate the bad tweets” about her family. “I believe that respectful dialogue is the key to being heard,” she continued. “Take care of yourself.”
Kirk hosted the event outside The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks, California, on Tuesday, December 22nd. KABC-TV reported that there appeared to be about 75 to 100 people present. The footage showed that carolers were standing close to each other, where many of them were not wearing masks and thus broke the state’s mandate in the middle coronavirus pandemic.
“We do not tolerate this irresponsible – yet constitutionally protected – planned peaceful protest event,” a statement said on the mall’s Twitter account. “We share your concern and have notified the sheriff’s office. We have also reached out to the event planner to ask that they not use The Oaks as their venue.”
