Octopuses strike blows at fish, and that may be in spite of scientists, researchers say.

Marine biologists filmed these interactions in the Red Sea, but it has also been captured elsewhere. It’s not entirely clear why they strike out, but researchers say it could be a way to keep the fish in line.

Fish and squid are known to hunt prey together and their interaction will continue to be analyzed.
