Dua Lipa Was the Star of ‘SNL’ Last Night With This One Move

Dua Lipa was the musical guest last night Saturday Night Live, where she made a como in a USO sketch from World War II with Bowen Yang and host Kristen Wiig. She’s hardly on the drawing, but she’s absolutely stealing the stage – and with good reason.

The sketch plays out White Christmas and has Wiig as a doctor, saying in a fast-paced tone from the 1940s: “Well, I may be a lousy doctor, but let’s see if I can be a half-decent singer.” Soon, Yang, joins the sketch, and it’s going to be a hip-hop / pop (?) Show. Wiig and Yang go on to tell a story of sex, cheating and scandal that ends with a surprising appearance.

“Remind me; do you wear red satin panties?” Asks Yang Wiig’s character. “Girl, you do not know,” replies Wiig. “Why did I find these in your briefcase?” Yang says.

“I’ve been looking for them,” says Dua Lipa, dressed in her USO suit.

“MARJORIE!” They shout. Yes, Taylor Swift fans have already pointed out always reference on Twitter.

But here’s the important part: Dua Lipa spanks (a very dizzying) Yang.

The rest of Twitter seemed quite pleased with Dua Lipa’s presence on the show and therefore fell further in love with her:

Congratulations seem to be in order for Dua Lipa, who was not the host but did a pretty good job for herself if she ever wants to fill that role.
