In 2010, fingerprints were required for passports and driver’s licenses. After much effort, Amal obtained a passport by showing a certificate from the Medical Board. He was partly afraid of the problems he would face at the airport. Riding a motorcycle was essential to his farm, but he did not obtain a driver’s license. “I paid and passed the exam.
