Investing.com – Israeli equities were higher after the close on Thursday as gains in the sectors led equities higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the increase was 1.69%.
The best players of the session on were Electra Ltd (TASE 🙂 which rose 7.17% or 10980 points to trade at 164180 at the close. In the meantime Shapir engineering industry (TASE 🙂 added 5.13% or 115 points to end at 2355, and Melisron (TASE 🙂 increased 4.62% or 710 points to 16090 in late trading.
The worst players of the session were International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE :), which fell 2.44% or 890 points and traded at 35580 at the close. Live person (TASE 🙂 fell 1.78% or 380 points and ended at 21000, and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE 🙂 fell 0.92% or 3.0 points to 324.0.
Rising stocks exceeded the number of declines on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 253 to 157, and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.31% or 0.15 to $ 47.97 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.37% or 0.19 to hit $ 51.05 per share.
