Benefits of ‘cutting’ are inevitable

President Donald Trump called the relief bill a “disgrace” Tuesday that raises doubts about his signature. Trump demanded $ 2,000 stimulus checks for individuals, more than the current $ 600, a policy that is Republican rejected Thursday.

Even if the president signs the law before the weekend, the “rock” benefits a gap of at least a week is inevitable for millionsaccording to government workers’ officials.

“There will be a delay in benefits for those currently enrolled in federal PUA and PEUC benefit programs,” said Jason Moon, a spokesman for the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency, referring to the expiring programs. “This will only be a disruption and plaintiffs will be cured once the expansions are fully implemented.”

The loss of support will push immediately about 5 million workers in poverty, according to a Columbia University study.
